We are a family of Indian brands from Chennai: sarees, ready-to-wear, jewellery and gifts. This store brings all five to the United States, in stock in New Jersey.
Our story
It started in 2013, with gifts.
Anand and Brindha began Wedtree in Chennai in 2013, making return gifts for Indian weddings and celebrations. Families who trusted us with their gifts soon asked us for their sarees too, and Prashanti grew into South India's best-loved saree house. Ready-to-wear came next with Maatshi, jewellery with b'Jewelled, and in 2025 the house welcomed Man Mandir, Chennai's four-decade-old gallery of rare sarees. Today more than 800 people work across the house, and every brand keeps its own buyers, its own eye and its own voice.

What we believe
The saree belongs to the world, not to a museum.
Handloom and traditional crafts survive when people wear them, buy them and gift them. So we buy from weavers and artisans across India, price honestly, and put their work in front of people who will love it, whether they live in Chennai or in Chicago.

Every brand has its own buying team in India. Here is what each one stands for.
Prashanti · The flagship saree house
Prashanti is where most of our customers first meet us. Kanchipurams from our own named collections (Bridal Tales, Nalina, Vaibhogam and Madhuram), Banarasis from Vadhanam, and handloom weaves from Heritage Looms, alongside the silk cottons and work wear sarees women reach for every day. Prashanti has six stores across South India and more than 1.3 million people follow its saree launches on YouTube.
Man Mandir · Where elegance is quiet
For about four decades, Man Mandir has been Chennai's gallery for rare sarees, at Khader Nawaz Khan Road in Nungambakkam. Banarasis, Kanchipurams, Patan Patola and handloom pieces are chosen for taste rather than trend. Every piece is one of a kind, and when it is gone, it is gone.
Maatshi · A new twist to everyday elegance
Maatshi is ready-to-wear for real, working women: kurtis, co-ord sets and salwar suits that go from the office to the evening without a trip to the tailor. Designed in India, with new styles launched every day there and a fresh drop reaching New Jersey every two weeks.
b'Jewelled · The finishing touch
b'Jewelled is the house's jewellery label. Necklaces, haarams, chokers, earrings and bangles are picked by the same team that buys our sarees, so the gold tones and stones sit beautifully with silk. Pair them with your saree in one order.
Wedtree · Gifts? Obviously Wedtree.
Wedtree is where the house began. Return gifts, favour bags, brass from our CuZn Studio and festive essentials for every Indian celebration, from a pooja at home to a wedding in New Jersey. Return gifts are priced for bulk, so you can order exactly the number your guest list needs.
